I didn't see a post about it, but Wizards has yet ANOTHER competition going on.

Yowza, this one seems a little bit off the wall, but hey - competitions are good.

Anybody trying for it?

If they looked nifty enough, I'd probably buy a pair just to antagonize my wife.

Hmm... We need a Rouge for Your Rogue contest! But I like this, it is nice to see WoTC have some just fun and silly competitions.

If WotC is seriously going into the fashion business, perhaps they should look into the following products which would be useful at gaming tables everywhere:

1. Suspenders of Disbelief
2. Scents of Wonder
3. Verisimili-Tube Socks​

This is a contest of sorts.

Community members use the Ryz Wear tool to design shoes using art, logos. or anything else inspired by D&D.

The community then votes on their favorite shoe design.

The winner's shoe design will then go up for sale on the Ryz web site where any on can purchase a pair in their size. The winning artist/designer is featured on the shoe's hang tag and gets $1000.

Magic: The Gathering just did this and had over 400 designs submitted. Dungeons & Dragons designs can start to be submitted next week.

If you can use a computer you can design a shoe. Seriously it is that easy.

For some reason this reminds me of an old thread form the WotC boards going on about them needing to make a D&D cereal. It was more or less concluded that it would need a D&D mini prize inside, a map tile on the back, have little cereal PCs and monsters plus marshmallow dice (so it would have both crunch and fluff).
