Where is the Psion?!

OK I am glad they put this out ahead of time and I am treating it as a playtest. Right of the bat, yes augmentable powers are very versatile, but I don't know how well it will play having 3 at-wills instead of encounter+at-will powers. It just feels like my power list is tiny.

This is incredibly cool. I really want to play a changeling psion. I like how the augmentation works; I'm a big fan of fewer powers with more flexible options attached to them. It lets you have a clearer schtick.

Note that psion powers are in the Compendium; there's an easy link at the bottom of the class writeup.

A few typos in the initial text, though. The "Suggested powers" text is a copy & paste error.

Two PPs too, the Uncarnate and Cerulean Adept, and both are closely tied to the psion mechanics, granting power points (argh, another PP abbreviation!).
There are quite a few feats too. I wonder if there's a multiclass feat...

I've been reading the powers on the compendium, and first glance I like them. It's like having 2 "half-encounter" powers OR an encounter power, with greater choice from the off, and a kewl mechanic to call your own.

I think they managed to fulfill most of the fan wishes for 4E psions. Augmentable powers stay in, Power Points stay in, Psion has a different power system than everyone else is in. I just wish we could have at least one more at-will.
