Getting lost in fantasy maps
Finished re(x15)-reading Glen Cook's personal favorite book of his own, The Tower of Fear.

I so badly want to find more novels like that one, from any author. I own everything Glen's written and I concur with Glen, I think The Tower of Fear is his best writing ever.

Following my obsession with the Napoleonic Wars of late, I am reading Frederick Kagan's The End of the Old Order: Napoleon & Europe 1801-1805.

Right now...

Postsingular by Rudy Rucker.
The Sunless Countries by Karl Schroeder.
The Long Run by Daniel Keyes Moran.

(I'm on a real SF kick lately)

The Lies of Locke Lamora - about 100 pages to go. What a great, great book so far. Wow!

Probably the best and freshest fantasy I have read in AGES. Red Seas Under Red Skies (book 2) is also awesome, if a bit different. Republic of Thieves (book 3) is available for pre-order on Amazon and I cannot remember being this excited for a book to come out. If Erikson's newest and Martin's Dance with Dragons comes out relatively soon as well, then I will drown in tasty, tasty pages.

As for what I am reading, I recently picked up Necronomicon: The Best Weird Tales of H.P. Lovecraft and am loving it.
