What sort of singer would your bard be?

I would like to think of a bard as an heroic Gaelic harpist with a barbaric bronze sword and woad and trews and red braids, singing and roaring with a voice of thunder...

But whenever the word bard pops in my head I unintentionally imagine Elan singing in a falsetto castrato voice and doing Bollywood dance moves to illustrate his words.

That would be Class Idol and yes, I think that might change things around. The least disliked is not necessarily the most liked.
Anyone want me to do it? I'll run it like America's Got Talent. You can vote up to X times (honor system not to vote more), and then the bottom Y percent drops out each round.

Anyone willing to make a variant Survivor Round System based on love, not hate?

GET A JOB, HIPPIE. You're German, man! You are putting every German stereotype over here to shame!

...I guess unless you're one of those doughy chocolate-Germans. But they're practically Swiss.

Is that what you want to be, Mustrum? Swiss?

Hippie.

;)

[PS: A Vote for Warden is a Vote For Less Insanity; I actually like the 4e bard, though I don't disagree with the criticisms here]

If you were going to do that, I'd rather see "one man, one vote". Each round you get to vote for the one class you like most - why muddy the waters with multiple votes?

Sure, but as gribble said, I'd prefer one vote per voter and one class voted off per round. I think it would also be a better idea to do this a month or two after Class Survivor is over, to minimize the chances that people will vote Survivor-style (for the one they want to go) instead of Idol-style (for the one they want to win). ;)
