Just as note, Flint will use Relentless Shot, if still available, on his first missed encounter or daily power, using Stinging Swarm as the basic attack.

can I use an action point, & second wind in response to the face bitting?

If so then shift back and use the hiku as vicious mockery against last dretch or mist demon.

If not then the hiku may be last words. (Pending attacks/posioning/death saves.)
If he survives shift back and second wind on his new turn, hoping an ally can catch the dretch before it closes again.

my players are gonna love this:) I adore using dretch, and made my own version (before mm2). They worked great in the well of demons, below thunderspire. Calling them pumpkin demons is a old joke in my campaign. I always describe them as looking like grinning pumpkins on spindly arms and legs - based on 1e drawings.

OOC: Use chromatic orb on Demon in the mist: 18 vs ref for 23 lightning dmg, and slide 3 Don't know if you want me to slide it somewhere in particular or leave it there.
As it is marked by Gnarul, if you were to slide it away from him (possibly back towards the clearing?) then if it attacked someone other than Gnarul it would activate his Warden's Grasp Immediate Reaction with Effect: You slide the target 1 square. The target is slowed and cannot shift until the end of its turn.

So that might reduce the number of attacks this round by 2 (assuming Gnarul could slide it out of anyone's reach). But you'd need to make someone else a more attractive target than Gnarul - probably by placing the mist next to them :)

And a slide can be in any direction.

Wow I didn't understood anything. Do you want me to slide it where? Sorry, sometimes the essence of the sentences escape my grasp.
Sorry, I was in a hurry.

Slide it away from Gnarul, but next to another party member. If the mist attacks that other person then Gnarul can interrupt after the first attack, but before the second and third attacks are made. This will restrict the mist to a single attack for the round.
