Fourthifying healing in SWSE

So, how many daily Surges would each class get? I'm thinking:

  • Soldier: 9 + Con mod
  • Scout: 7 + Con mod
  • Jedi: 7 + Con mod
  • Scoundrel: 5 + Con mod
  • Noble: 5 + Con mod

There should be a Durable-type feat (+2 daily Surges), and an extra-good Durable-type talent (+2 daily Surges, +2 to surge value) in one of the talent trees.

That's probably overkill, especially at lower levels where a single second wind could recover almost half your hit points in one go (unless you drop the 1/4 max HP or Con score bit from SWSE's second wind and just limit it to 1/4 max HP).

I think the Variant Rule from Sarli's article does a pretty good job of laying out who gets how many surges, with the more combat-focused classes getting the most of the lot but nothing excessive (unless they really focused on their Constitution score).
