I actually don't hate Gnomes. I voted for Eladrin, since they made stinky Wizards until ArcP patched their spell list with special wand enhancing powers.

However, with Humanity gone, my heart's not really in the poll any more.

Yeah, I love those adorable humans...

On the other hand, I hate those scary gnomes *RAWR*. They could be super cool and bada$s, but instead are more of a comic relief character (well except the Eberron gnomes, yeah they rock!)

With the monster races out of the way, I choose half-orc to go next. I don't like their charging racial power, because it only works if you're a melee fighter. What if you want to be a wizard half-orc? Oops, too bad, you can't use that feature. At least it's not as bad as a minotaur. They're just blatantly classist.

My vote is for gnome, but not for any reason inherent to the gnomes themselves.

Easily 90% of the players I've played with who were playing gnomes insisted on playing squeaky, thieving, obnoxious, "innocent" trouble makers. If the easiest way to stop that from ever happening again is gnomish genocide, then I fear it is a necessary evil.
