Any particular reason for doing all this? Is it because people have requested such functionalities, or to make the site more engaging to new and current users, or just for the heck of it, or...?There'll be nothing less, but I'm afraid there will be some more stuff. Whether you choose to use the new stuff or not is entirely up to you.
I think it's actually an attempt to appease the Elder Gods, but Morrus would never admit to that anyway...Any particular reason for doing all this? I am completely uninterested in any site that does "social networking" and refuse to visit any site that I percieve as fishing for personal information.
I want a quick and simple way of reading and posting into discussions about role-playing games; preferably in the tried and tested format of a standard message board. As anonymously as practically possible.
Nothing less and nothing more.
What I mainly use here are the forums. I suspect that will not change at the new location.
How do they identify social networking sites? I mean, it's not as if there is an HTML tag indicating "insert social network stuff here"...Other social networking sites are blocked where I do most of my surfing - at work. Including the new WotC boards. That will be the main reason I would have a problem, if one ends up existing. It would be a shame to lose a chunk of us (whose companies place such blocks) that come here as a mental break from our work day.
