I've never really understood why some online storefronts - especially those that target gamers - don't make more use of Paypal.

I have complained to Paizo about this in the past. For whatever reason, they have not added it so I simply got tired of the issue and have stopped asking. For this reason - they don't get my money directly (other than at Gencon) but only indirectly. Honestly - it's their loss.

It's their business and they'll do what they'll do, I guess. It's my money and I'll do what I'll do.

Whereas I'm the other way around: I will not use Paypal for anything, period.

Not that I've any reason to get anything from Paizo at the moment, but this news raises them a notch in my eyes.

Ditto. It is the sole reason I am not a supporter/subscriber of ENWorld, PayPal is the only method offered to pay.

Yeah, I'm the same. I recently cancelled my subscription to ENW 'cause it's through PayPal (if there's a VISA option, I can't find it). I'm sick to death of PayPal and their BS. I refuse to use eBay in Australia as well because they require PayPal as an option for every auction. It's all just a big scam.

I don't know much about Paypayl's practices, but they can't be worse than Visa Debit.

PayPal has had their problems (ENWorld had a major issue a few years back). Regardless, everyone has their preferences and giving the consumer a reasonable choice is typical best, if practical.

I drove a buddy of mine down to the local buy/rent video game emporium, and he walked out with a shiny new card for 2 months of WOW membership.

As far as a DDI subscription...that'd be best for me. Just walk into the game shop and buy the card.

I think they may be focusing on people and DDI because I checked the button for, "Don't have DDI and don't want it," and the survey ended. I didn't get the next page(s) of questions I've seen quoted.

In Germany, yes. Loads of them. And loads of those who have one won´t use them on the web. Me, forex. No paypal, no sale.

I hit the currently have DDI and the survey ended... I thinks its specifically for people that don't have DDI and want it, but something is stopping them.
