D&D 4E 4e Campaigns level 1 to 30 - a good one ?

Okay we are currently doing Scales of War.

The next DM is going to another standard Campaign.

Can someone suggest a good one that takes us through from Level 1 to 30.

We are traditional players, but have a few power gamers so needs to be tough.

Seems SOW is very weak as it doesnt take into account the vast power creep that comes from all the additional options for character creation.

There are currently (afaik) only two full 1-30 campaigns out there - SoW and HPE. WotBS, while very good, is not nearly done. Last I checked, they were about 1/3 of the way, but I must admit that I have been busy, so I haven't had the time to download the latest adventures and check them out.

The H1->H3, P1->P3, E1->E3 series of WotC 4E modules.

The Heroic modules are very poorly done in my opinion. He was asking for a good one. I don't know about the other two.

The Pyramid of Shadows especially is very grindy. There is no real plot except that you are trying to escape and you probably spend 4 levels doing it.

I thought the Thunderspire one was the best of the 3. I haven't tried any of the other modules of the series but I suspect they are about the same since each one seems to be for several levels.

Modules are like having a slab of raw meat. You can try and chew your way through it but, while it may saciate your hunger, it's likely to cause indigestion (and diarreah? At least the verbal kind when you hit the boards to complain about it afterwards :))

The meat, like the module needs to be spiced, salted and lovingly cooked. Any common slab of meat can be turned into an exquisite meal if the cook is worth their salt. I could delve into the anolgy even more but I think I've made my point.
