[D&D 4e] IG's "Those Left Behind, Chapter 4" [OOC]

Well, whichever the case, I'll always roll a single initiative for the bad guys, and I'll never give up their defense info unless it's necessary. I just wanted to know how you guys wanted to handle it the next time Leif posts first, despite the fact that Uulark is last in the initiative order. Technically, after all this madness, I don't think he and Caerwyn have even had a turn yet. Anyway, it looks like we'll pretty much carry on business-as-usual, which is fine with me.

FWIW - I allow players to post in whatever order they want, but resolve actions in init order. I give everyone time to revise actions up to my round update post.

:.-( :-S  WAHHHHH!

Me sowwy, Big Mean Bossman. I thought we had been resolving stated actions in initiative order all along. If I have to fit a RT post in a narrow window of time, then there will probably be lots of rounds when Uulark doesn't get to act at all because of my total lack of access to ENWorld at work.

I think in the long run you'll be happier having things happen in initiative order and letting post as we have time. It is a little more work for the DM to line everything up, but it does speed things up to let everyone post when they have time with an understanding that someone else's action may force an edit now and then. That said, I am willing to give Mal's system a chance and be proven wrong.

I'm up for a do-over on the round as well. Fortunately, Rogash's approach is very straight forward so he shouldn't complicate things too much. I suspect he's not going to be very useful in this particular fight.

That's pretty much the way I've been doing it, so I thought. I just know that it tends to flub up others' actions every now and then, so I wanted to make sure it was cool with everyone since we were in the situation to discuss it.

Thanks for the insight, everyone!

Ok, so I've finally gotten off my ass and tackles this thing. Here's hoping everything is right and we can actually move on to the next round.

The stunned effect has worn off, so everyone is free to act. Uulark and Caerwyn need to go first, however, since they're up in initiative. Then everyone else can go (including Talashia... AGAIN!), and then the bad guys.

You need to hurry up and kill these guys. I'm already tired of them. ;)
