Hi
I'm starting i new adventure with the pathfinder campaign setting. I want to give a good impression of the game since these players a all newbies. Can anyone recommend a good adventure for about 8 sessions play? I tried reading curse of the crimson throne but didn't like it a whole lot. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Are you wanting an Adventure or Adventure Path? The Paizo adventures are all pretty short and I doubt stretchone to 8 sessions would work. The adventure paths I think would take a lot longer then 8 sessions for any of them.

Crypt of the Ecerflame, Masks of the Living God and City of Golden Death form a three-part adventure arc, going from first level to about 6th or 7th. The arc is known as the Price of Immortality trilogy.

Total number of sessins to complete should be about 10.

Crypt of the Everflame, in particular, is ideally suited as an intiroduction to the Pathfinder RPG and is written with that specific object in mind. We have reviewed and deconstructed Crypt of the Everflame and Masks of the Living God in the podcast, with our review of City of Golden Death to be released later this week on episode 3 of the podcast.

Link to the podcast is in my sig. I would suggest that these three modules are idealy suited for your group.

This would be my recommendation as well. Excellent story arc, about the right size (you can trim an encounter or two if needed), good balance of RP/combat, etc. It should work nicely.

Failing that, you can try running some of the Pathfinder Society scenarios. They are good for about a 4-6 session depending on your pace and some of them are linked into mini-arcs.

I would download Master of the Fallen Fortress and go from there. A GM can take any one module and build on, making a campaign witht he material.

Our group doesn't use modules, I just make encounters, find a suitable location, and mash it together. However, I did download Master of the Fallen Fortress to glean it for NPCs and treasure.

The words... they look like English, but their meaning? It escapes me!

Sorry, Crimson Throne is my favorite Adventure Path so far, so I thought that some melodramatic shock was appropriate.... :p
