Pathfinder 1E Wanted: Good Pathfinder adventure

I would recommend adapting one of the following, as their PRGP modules are a bit lacking:

Crown of the Kobold King is one of their best low level mods.

I ran crown of the Kobold King for a PbP and found it to be a real meat grinder. It's a very lethal low-level module. Crypt of the Everflame would be my recomendation for new recruits. Either that or perhaps doing just the first of one of the APs. Burnt Offerings and The Howl of the Carrion King can both be run as very good stand alone modules, though my guess would be they would last 3-4 sessions for a standard group.

I'm looking to accomplish the same thing - Give a good introduction to Pathfinder to my group of 4 experienced D&D players (currently playing 4E, but have roots in 1E and 2E).

I was looking at D0 as a possibility. Is this even for Pathfinder or was it made for 3.5E?

Comments on D0 or other modules are welcome.

Also, what kind of classes should I have the players utilize to ensure all the roles are fulfilled? Is a cleric and rogue required pretty much required for any group? Are there any other classes from the core rulebook that can fill those roles?

Okay I think I've peppered this thread with enough off-topic questions for now.

I ran 'Into the Haunted Forest', which is a 1st level adventure, I found it reasonable easy to DM, the players enjoyed it and the last encounter was very close and deadly, no deaths, but very close...

For beginner DMs this is a good module, for new players to pathfinder this is a good module. Written for 3.5, it doesn't take much convert to pathfinder. You can find details on the Paizo site.

I used D0 with my players (coming over from Traveller, prev. played OD&D and some 3.0). It took 3 sessions, they took the time limit seriously & didn't scour the monastery clean on the first visit (when collecting the components for the cure.)

It's 3.5, but plays under PFRPG fine.

The group needs a cleric with healing domain and at least one other character--preferably two--with Heal skill. I say this though the Tatzlwurm failed its Grapple on every attack when we played. We had a group with a fighter, barb, cleric (luck/healing), rogue, and wizzie (evoc/universalist) go through. When the worg got the healer <0 with one bite it was perilously close to a total wipe. I had replaced the strength potion in the worg's stash with a healing potion and put another in the desk, these barely prevented character deaths of the wizzie and cleric. Everyone took or added to Heal when they leveled.

I added some cultists working for the Worg in town, and spliced in the dungeon for The Burning Plague under the monastery. I replaced the burning plague with blackscour taint for that module, making the source of the infection a body of a cultist infected with the taint in the pool.

With the extras it's about 8 sessions.

In the back of the Campaign setting it has a nice map showing where the modules published at the time take place. Has this been done with all the modules or is there a place that lists the modules by location?

Hi,

I'd recommend Retribution, an adventure for 1st-level characters. (I am the designer, though, so I *may* be biased) by Raging Swan Press.

The adventure comprises wilderness treking, a sinister mystery and a short dungeon crawl. You can check out its web page for more information or download some of the freebies to get a feel for the module.
