[Trailer] Thor

The parts in Asgard somehow remind me of Chronicles of Riddick. A colourful version. I think it's a mistake showing Asgard at all. Although, then the movie might be too much like Superman. I don't know, I have really mixed feelings about this.

In the first scenes, I was thinking, "Thor is far stronger than that." It felt wrong. It was bringing back memories of how Thor was portrayed in the old Incredible Hulk TV show.

But then as the trailer went on, it seems that his lower strength (human-like strength) is because he's been stripped of his godly power. OK. That eased my disappointment from earlier in the trailer.

It looks like he tries and fails to lift the hammer (he's not worthy), but I'm figuring, by the end of the film, he will have shown his worthiness, and can take up the hammer, gain his full power, and take on the Destroyer. ??

I'm thinking this might be a good movie. It might be.

Oh, please let it be a good movie. Thor is in my top 5 favorite superheroes.

If Odin dies, Ragnarok is underway. That obviously isn't the case here, so I have no interest in it. (But then, I never much cared for Marvel's version of Thor anyway. They couldn't even get his hair color right!)

Man, that would've been nice to see. Already stripped on all the sites I regularly check. Oh well. Shouldn't be too long before official trailers start arriving.
