Just finished Terry Pratchett's The Wee Free Men, which I found funny and poignant. Will probably go pick up A Hat Full of Sky next, which is the next book in the Tiffany Aching series.

Today I finished Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived in the Castle which is creepy and a bit disturbing. I started Dexter is Delicious the latest the Serial Killer killer Deter series.

I just finished Tooth and Nail, which is a pretty decent zombie book. The book follows a military unit in NYC during the zombie uprising. It's nice because for once the soldiers aren't incompetent as they usually are in most zombie movies/books.

I'm trying to finish up Twelve, by Jasper Kent. It's a story of vampires defending Russia from Napoleon's invasion. It's very interesting, but the writing is so dry that I'm finding it a chore to finish. I've got Sanderson's latest WoT book winging toward me via mail, so I'll drop everything once that arrives.

I'm currently reading The Kill Artist by Gabriel Allon. This is what Le Carre would write if he had a nervous breakdown. A very violent book about an ex-Mossad assassin. The story so far has a smooth flow. I like it.

Great story. Love Shirley Jackson.

I'm still reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Scarlet Pimpernel with my 5th graders. For me, I'm still reading Christopher Dawson's Dynamics of World History and a collection describing Great Cases of Scotland Yard. Started The Scarlet Letter for a seminar.

The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. My girlfriend burned through all three books in the series pretty quick and is dying for me to get through them so we can discuss them and then see how they compare to movies. Through his writting, I wouldn't be surprised that the author shared some personal traits with his female lead ;).
