Pathfinder 1E Best third party publisher Pathfinder products?

Thank you for the kind words. I am happy to say the APG does make Fistful of Denarii less necessary, but I think the book still has a lot to offer. If you like the archetypes in the APG, I think you could find a worse way to spend $2.39.

Don't misunderstand. AFFoD is very, very close to being considered a core rulebook in my campaign. What slight overlap there is with the APG I consider to be alternate builds and in most cases, I prefer the AFFoD's implementation.

For those looking for good 3PP stuff, buy this now!

We are not very popular yet, but we get good reviews. You may want to try out some of Alluria Publishing's stuff. Fey Folio received honorable mention twice in the ENNies.
For Pathfinder, we have Remarkable Races, Fey Folio, Creepy Creatures Bestiary, and very soon, the Cerulean Seas Campaign Setting.

This might not be the most popular thing to say, but ...

I find it kind of irritating how fast this thread has changed into an advertising competition. The way I understood the OP, he wanted users to recommend 3rd party products from their own experience - which is fine and an interesting topic, because most contributors to this thread have given their reasons for liking a particular product so that anyone who shares their opinions and interests can then check out said product.

What I don't get is why a lot of publishers see this as an opportunity to chime in and tell everybody how great their own products are. I mean, sure, most small press publishers have to raise awareness for their product, but doing it in a thread such as this not only defeats the thread's purpose, but also annoys me (and makes me reconsider purchasing from someone who feels the need to advertise their product so 'aggressively').

I get that you think your products are great, but that's like a publisher reviewing their own product. And I (and probably a lot of other people) have stopped buying things just because they are advertised, instead listening to customer feedback. So, what I'm saying is: let other voices be heard, and you will benefit more in the long term, I guess.

We now return you to your scheduled programming.

Another thing you can do if you want to know more about 3pp products is go check my name on Paizo. I have 111 reviews as of last count. The vast majority of them of 3pp Pathfinder stuff. i post most of the reviews here as well, but not sure if you can sure by author here or not for reviews.

I try to tell people a lot about the product in a unbiased way and then add comments at the end on what I liked and why.

You are naturally quite right - I made this mistake because I was excited about our release. But naturally, we as publishers should not butt in here, where people are asking for fair suggestions by other consumers. Will edit my post up above, and thanks for chiming in. Sometimes we also need a reality check :)

Well it is understandable for 3pp to do that. I mean with how the industry works right now, they have to pretty much rely on word of mouth and the internet to get the word out about their products.

Since i didn't offer suggestions yet. Only saying they can check out my reviews. I decided to add a list of my favorite products but only one from each company that made one of my favorite products.

Open Design - Tales of the Old Margreve
4 Winds Fantasy Gaming - Luven Lightfinger's Gear & Treasure Shop
0onegames - Urban Adventures: The Great City Player's Guide
Tripod Machine - Adventuring Classes: A Fistful of Denarii
Alluria Publishing - Fey Folio: Clans of the Fey
Headless Hyrda Games - Eldritch Secrets Spell Compendium
Super Genius Games - Krazy Kragnar's Alchemical Surplus Shop
Rite Publishing - Secrets of Divine Channeling

Honorable mention is Slumbering Tsar by Frog God Games, as it is a adventure path of sorts and not done yet it is hard to judge it as a whole. The biggest thing that hurts them is price. They are top notch quality but a tad expensive.

All the ones I mentioned above are pretty good about putting out quality stuff. Tripod has only made one product so far, so hard to judge them yet as a company. While Headless Hydra and Alluria are young companies, still sometimes having growing pains. But they are getting better as they go and they was pretty good to begin with.

The rest are all more established and have already for the most part had their growing pains. Of those left 4 Winds Fantasy, Open Design, 0onegames, Super Genius Games, and Rite Publishing. If I had to pick one as the best over all and by best I mean turns in high quality books over and over for the best price? I guess I would say Super Genius Games with Rite Publishing a very very close second and the rest all dogging closely on those two's heels.

This is not a dig on any company and merely a matter of personal experience and views as things stand now. But honestly i think most people would be happy buy stuff from any company I listed above.
