Kingmaker, In Hindsight

Thanks for all the posts guys! I have a follow up question. What do you actually get in the map folio? The product description is very vague.

Generally the map folio is just a reprint of the maps you already have in the AP itself. The advantage is that they are loose leafed and you can just pull out the one you want without having to keep flipping the book back and forth.

Thanks Wicht. How big are the maps, A3 maybe? And how many do you get? I guess what I'm getting at is are they decent value for money?

I'll quote James Jacobs on the Kingmaker Poster Map folio:

With this product we're moving away from the 15 page collection of map reprints that the other map folios have done. This'll have six four-panel poster maps in it—two of cities and four of the wilderness region the AP takes place in. No reprinted dungeon maps at all.

I have it in front of me here. They are a poster map which is closer to A2 in size (just under).
Maps are:

- The Stolen Lands: The Greenbelt (the hexes are 60mm in size side-to-side)
- The Stolen Lands: The Nomen Heights
- The Stolen Lands: The Glenebon Uplands
- The Stolen Lands: The Slough
- The Township of Varnhold
- The City of Pitax

I have cut up the hexes and as the PCs explore, I reveal more and more hexes. If you're planning to get right into Kingmaker then I would recommend this. The quality is ver good.

Best Regards
Herremann the Wise
