Today's update was another that was heavy on bug fixes. We addressed almost 200 bugs this time around, as well as some server and client side stability issues. You can find a more detailed list of those bugs here.

Character Builder

* Dragon 394 Content
* Dungeon 285 Content
* Added blank portrait option
* Power Cards now properly ordered on character sheet
* Play data cards added (such as action point card and abbreviated character sheet card)


Compendium

Looking Ahead

We continue to squash bugs and add features to the Character Builder - we'll have more news on next month's feature additions as we near the end of February. We're also moving ahead with the D&D Virtual Table and Adventure Tools betas. The focus for the AT beta at this point is to make sure that we get the monster import feature working for the VT. Once that's accomplished, we will look at adding functionality to the tool and have the beta testers check out those features as well. As always, have fun with the new content and make sure to report any bugs you find, and stop by the D&D Insider and Character Builder forums to join in on the conversations.

Note that I am poking Trevor about the Executioner Assassin. Initial reports (not by me, stpuid work firewall) indicate it is not there.

I can confirm this for you that it does not appear as an option in the Character Builder.

I can also confirm that the March of the Phantom Brigade doesnt have any of the Dragon Magazine Essentials options available to the Essentials classes (i.e Pyromancer, Earth Domain etc)

Pfft.... yeah right, everyone's clamoring for more backgrounds for Shifters in FR settings obviously. The essentials assassin is only a minor part of that issue, we also get the high paragon & epic, rare items for Runepriests as well.

I too was quite disappointed in this absence of features from Essentials articles that should be available by now. In fact, I sent a bug report on this very subject a few days ago, but the response I received implied that I was in error and that these articles hadn't been added yet. They had been added, but not to the campaign where more choice was essential, they are only in the Home Campaign option. Since Encounters is Essentials only, we should have all of the options that the rules sheet for March of the Phantom Brigade says we can make characters from.
