Saw Black Death and found it trying. Ideas weren't very original and it wasn't a captivating story by any means. Christopher Smith has done much better.

That's too bad. How were other elements of it? Was it a good movie visually? Was there much and/or decently executed combat?

I found most of it quite forgettable. The battles weren't anywhere near as memorable as the one in Centurion.

Not enough magic in the first set of books for this to be "your D&D movie".
