Need some class suggestions/builds, evil DM.

Dandu's points are valid, however disregards Nomnath's ... namely a silent still PW:P guarantees those affected suffer an extra 1d6 no-save damage EACH round for the duration WITHOUT the caster appearing to either initiate combat nor become an obvious target ... factors which could easily offset the higher damage offered by other 3rd level spell selections depending on the circumstances.

Additionally, any so-inflicted spellcasters must succeed on their concentration checks (minimum DC 10+damage) to successfully cast their own spells for the duration since they're taking damage.

1-2 monk
3-4 lvl barbarian
5-6 lvl fighter
7-9 ranger

8 BAB at 9th level? Im assuming this is a build and the levels? Whats the advantage of this build? Is it even possible as Monks are lawful Barbs aint? Rangers wear only light armor and Monks none?

So what you end up with is a lightly or none armored sub-max BAB toe to toe'r with, at 9th level 5HD of d8?

Maybe there is some feats not included that makes since of this build? Or Im just missing the boat?

A man in a tower shield and heavy armor is within 40 feet of you and now you feel like you've been cursed.

You live in a world where people in heavy armor can be servants of deities both good and evil.

Chances are, he is going to be on the suspect list.

I do believe the OP wanted us/someone to present build ideas and maybe hinted towards a little power gamey.

Druid is strong
Cleric is always a nice/strong/survivable and welcome addition to any group
any spellcaster with good spell selection and feat choices is a strong viable pc

A new class, new to me anyways, was the Archivist, found in the heroes of Horror. This class can make a lore ck roll and add bonuses of +1 up to +3 to the entire party pending how much he makes his roll by. The class has a wide variety of spells, most divine but do to his ability to select from all domains has access to many arcane spells as well. Worth a look into...

5th Psion / 1st Elocater This build will be a 6th level manefester, you will no longer touch the ground 'scorn earth' get side step charge feat free, get 1 bonus feat at 1st level Psion and 1 more bonus feat at 5th level Psion. You can wear armor, nice! Its 1 spell(power) list so its simple and easyier to play, less time consuming. I suggest going telepath, lots of good powers to choose from, get the feat expanded knowledge and get the power called Astral Construct. AC is like monster summoning but you build/taylor fit your summoned/manefested construct to any encounter-very nice indeed! You will have excellent powers, be a great attribute to any party and the Elocater dip will save you any problems of being on the ground not to mention you have a limited levitation at will. With scorn earth you can levitate 10' per round, I think it is, forever -at will, used like a feather fall, or climbing etc.

You can find the Psion and the Elocater by searching google for srd 3.5 revised

well thats a nice list of feats. How does armor proficiency help him with the Monk class? & tower shield? Wep spec is a 4th level fighter not 2nd?
It doesnt seem like a pc at 6th level thats going to be power gamey.

If you want feats then
2nd level Monk
2nd level psy warrior
2nd level fighter
granted the BAB suffers another -1 but at least the wis stat helps with 2 classes. Not saying I would do this but this build nets you a bonus feat every level

well i had made that build a while back my group tries to stay mostly core books with some dips mostly for prc but not often. took monk for unarmed and the wis bonus to ac. barb was for the uncanny dodge for a free no lat footed. fighter was to buff my health a bit and for the two extra free feats. with a to weapon based ranger being my final goal. got a few that i didnt want but could still come in handy i guess under right circumstances.

how about Monk 2/Druid 4 ??

Postponing Wildshape and 3rd level spells for two levels, gains you flurry of blows, unarmed strike, evasion, and adds your Wisdom bonus to your natural AC; all of which should proven helpful.
