In 3.5 terms, all the players were about 19th or 20th level.

If we were to reconstruct this battle in the new system, the Heroes would be Tier 5.+ and the Valinor at least Tier 7 or so.

Back to the question at hand, would the Mad Valinor have "conquered the world"? Nope - just that corner of it. There are other forces that are just as powerful that would have to become involved had the Heroes failed.

Does that answer your question?

Thank you for the clarification.

This make more sense.

I've heard that from a lot of our players, but 'Yes' Year of the Fall was released and sold out a few months later.

We do have it available as a PDF however.

(Some more historical questions).

Just wondering. Of the post-2005 titles, which ones were published in book form? Did they also sell out quickly?

I'm thinking of the titles:

PCI 1009 Shadows of a Forsaken Past
PCI 1010 Year of Ill Harvest
PCI 1011 Year of the Fall
PCI 1012 For the Lesser Gods
PCI 1013 Lord of the Pack

PCI 1112 Theocracy of Canceri
PCI 1113 Forged in Magic: Revised and Expanded

PCI 1116 Psionics Unbound

Except for "Year of Ill Harvest", I've never seen any of these titles in any gaming stores. (I picked up "Year of Ill Harvest" from a second handed bookstore, which was not a gaming store).

Back in early 2008, I tried special ordering "Theocracy of Canceri" through a nearby gaming store, but they couldn't get it. (I later gave up on trying to order it, when I moved on to 4E D&D).

You missed out on a great book. Dr. Evil himself, Rob Schwalb, penned that delightfully twisted tome. You should try and get your hands on a copy - I still see them floating around Ebay once in a while.

Also, we still have copies of Psionics Unbound as we've found that many Pathfinder players love it and use it for their campaign.

Best,

Good morning Matrix,

This was asked earlier, but I didn't see it answered: b/w or color?

Yes, it is in color. For those of you so inclined, we've put up quite a few pieces from the interior of the book on our Face Book page.

Also, I'm going to see if I can post an example of combat here once that particular page is laid out. So keep an eye out for that in the next day or two.

Best,
