[Adventure] Dungeons and Them (DM:johnmeier1, judge:????)

Devinihm moves to a position where he can see the Dragon, and points his staff, howling to summon one of the ghostly wolves he commands. The creature's jaws clamp shut on the dragon's forward leg, and with supernatural skill it pulls the dragon off its feet.

Even as it falls, Devinihm is engulfed with the otherworldly light of his ancestors, slipping through the glowing portal to appear closer to his toad. As he does so, Dante's eyes glow briefly with the same light.

The toad, left to its own devices, lashes out again, but again fails to connect.

Jonathan runs into place. With a clear line to the dragon, he holds his spear directly in front of his face and motions forcefully forward while at the same time making an almost imperceptibly high screech. In an instant, the area is filled with swarming bats. Jonathan directs them toward the dragon, hoping to hinder this most formidable of foes. (Swarming Bats vs. Dragon CRITS. Dragon takes 15 max damage plus 9 crit damage = 24 damage total. As part of the power, dragon slides one square - not sure what this does to the grabs. Zone is difficult terrain for all (sorry Max), even creatures flying in it (yay!). Enemies grant CA while in the zone. Zone is area burst 2 (although currently clipped against wall), sustain minor - jonathan can move it 4 squares with a move action)

[sblock=Ruling on Inevitable Shot?]
Anybody hazard a guess as to whether one can use inevitable shot when you miss a large (or larger) creature to attack the same creature in a different square? Hopefully Jonathan won't miss this fight so a moot point ;)

[sblock=OOC]Slide does not break the grabs since the dragon has Melee 2 reach on the attack. You can take back the slide if you want. It may be able to make it's Immediate Reaction so here it is again.
Trigger (enemy leaves a square within 2 of the dragon) Melee 3 +14 vs Ref for 1d6+7 and knocked prone (I believe he is -5 on the attack due to prone condition)

OOC: No problem. i don't need to flank anymore :)

[sblock=ooc: Everyone who hasn't used their AP: Please read]
Bravura Presence

When an ally Max sees spends an action point to take another action to use it as an attack, the ally can choose to take advantage of this feature before the attack roll.

If the ally chooses to do so and the attack hits, then the ally can choose to do the following after the AP action:
* make a basic attack +1 to hit (due to feat: improved bravura)
or
* make a move action as a free action +1 added to ally's speed for movement (due to feat: improved bravura)

If the AP attack misses, the ally grants CA to all enemies TENT.

Clearly worth the risk

OOC: Question about being grabbed. Max has a 21 str. Does this mean that he automatically escapes grab or does he have to roll a SA vs Grab +str?
or...is it something else

OOC: dimsdale, you need to make an Athletics check or an Acrobatics check to escape, they both have the same DC (20, lower than the dragon's defenses) Max would probably roll Athletics since he has +12

ooc: Ty :)

While in the grasp of the mighty dragon the warlord plunges his weapon into the beast, all the way to the hilt. The dragon roars in pain and loosens his grip on Max. which allows him to break free of the his grasp.

[sblock=draconic speak]
Did that one hurt a little more? Ha Haaaa!
[/sblock]

The warlord stabs at the dragon again, but misses.

[sblock=actions]
trigger: start of max's turn
Power: walk it off: save vs on-going +2 feet bonus= fail

max takes 5 damage: hp down to 34/62

AP: Warlord's strike: 1d20+15+2(CA) +3(Action surge feat) = Crit! for 23+13 for a total fo 36 hp damage. Also, all attacks on dragon TENT get +2 additional damage.

movement: escape vs grabbed: 1d20+12(athletics)+2(feet bonus)= 29 save :)
minor: none
attack: brash attack: 1d20+15+2 vs Dragon AC = miss

OOC: The next successful attack will put max in a bloodied stat. This will trigger Max's sword power which grants a free attack to an ally 5 squares away. Max chooses Dante
