Before she has time to consider her words, Auntie Mab blurts out, "Ie lema na'aer va a'seeren rast," in reply to the captain.
[sblock=Elven]"And may the winds carry you to peaceful shores."[/sblock]
Clearly unsure of what she has just said, Auntie Mab is crestfallen to see tears streaking down Captain Elai's face. "There, there love," she says, favoring the young captain with a sudden and unexpected hug. "You just have to be strong. Mr. Dartanian is in a better place now, no doubt. Safe journeys to you and your crew."
Walking down the ship's ramp, Mab mutters, "Did you hear that Tristram? I didn't know I could speak Elven. Must be one of my great arcane powers."
As she heads back into town, she catches up to Illarion, and out of sight of the rest of the party greets him with a certain secret handshake. "So, you're one of us, are you?," she asks, pulling back her sleeve to briefly show a small tattoo of a magpie on her wrist. "And a shape-changer to boot? Don't worry dearie, your secrets are safe with me. My you must have some amazing stories to tell. Why, I'd just love to hear them over a cup of tea. How about let's go visit that delightful Hanged Man place? I know Tristram could use a drink after all those days on the water," she says motioning toward the obviously seasick rodent perched on her shoulder.
