Explosive Rune Goodness

There seems to be a clause in the RAW of Dispel as an area effect that would not allow the dispelling of more than one Explosive Runes at a time, therefore if a crumpled ball wad of a bunch of Explosive Runes detonated, the first exploding piece of paper would likely destroy the remaining pieces of paper before they'd go off.

Can Explosive Runes be cast more than once on the same object?

I ask in order to abuse the Erase spell trigger, which says it can erase one or two pages of writing. If you can cast Explosive Runes multiple times on a single sheet of paper (at least once on either side, to 2 times, and 2 sheets of paper makes 4 times) than a single Erase spell can trigger multiple at once.

Dealing 24d6 points of Force damage at one time would make me happy.

Can someone explain to me how the Erase spell has a range of close, while the text reads that magical writing need be touched in order to use the spell? Does one need to touch the magic writing at the casting of the spell, or does the caster simply need to have touched it at some point and is able to cast the spell later?

Since Erase is a touch spell, without the range of touch, can it still be effected by Spectral Hand?

You'd almost think they MADE it this hard so I couldn't abuse the system. But I know better!

Oh!
-Cast Explosive Runes on an opponents scrolls.

Wait, if Explosive Runes was recorded, as a spell, onto a scroll for use, could another person safely cast it?
....Yup, it's past my bed time.

Use of Rune Traps

Two best instances I've use Rune based traps:
1. Party had to go through an underwater cave to enter a casters lair. Having just fought a 12HD water elemental guardian (basically invis in the water) they came to a set of two large doors. The rune on the door when activated created a magical deadzone in a 30' radius (there goes your water breathing ability :uhoh:) The thief having to pick locks underwater and under duress was actually comical but the party wasn't laughing too much.

2. Explosive Rune of Fire in a confined passage of the dungeon with poor air circulation and a giant mound of bat guano. (Out goes the air in a nice vaccum and up goes the guano)
