Help me convince my DM that monks aren't broken

Even Dandu's level 10 optimised Monk is fairly mediocre. It's a good Monk, don't get me wrong, but I'm one hundred percent positive that given the same resources, he could make a level 8 Fighter that could beat it.

Gonna add a level of CC Lion Totem Barbarian to that for the Pounce ability?

If I'm not mistaken, the Lion Totem variant presented in the SRD (the source Dandu's Monk is from) does not offer Pounce.

Yeah, I probably should have just done Spirit Lion Totem instead of just saying CC Lion Totem. Maybe done CC's Spirit Lion Totem. Oh well, too late now. @_@
