They've never said it, but that's a popular fan theory as to why Elan intentionally kissed Sabine to distract her: he knew it wouldn't really drain him.

Huh, odd. I didn't find this page as entertaining as some of the previous Roy and Vaarsuvius focused ones. I guess they can't all be winners for everybody though.

While I like that Elan has finally gotten some competence, I think I'm starting to miss the bard who would spend skill ranks is Perform: Kazoo, or strip naked in an attempt to reduce his ACP to the point of invisibility.

He hasn't quite grown out of that. (Yeah yeah, it's been a while since that comic was released, but not too long in the comic's storyline.)

It's true that he hasn't quite grown out of it. A more recent example that springs to my mind is "I GOT A 9 THIS TIME". He still has less frequent silliness than I think suits my tastes though.
