Pathfinder 1E Paizo Announces More Details about Minis Line

It's always nice to just pick up and miniature and play.

I love painting minis but time is something you can never have enough of. In addition, some of these sculpts look great and would make some great repaints that we would never have without them existing in the first place.

And then there are those who don't like to paint but would love to have the miniatures and paying for miniatures to be painted is far more expensive then buying the prepaints.

Nothing beats a hand selected/hand painted mini. These look to cartoony for my tastes. Pass

None of these paint jobs show the effect of a wash to bring out detail.

You like what you like - and don't like what you don't like. Nobody else gets to make that evaluation for you. I would urge you, however, to keep an open mind and withhold judgment until the final production line paint jobs are displayed.

These shots are all early prototype pics and many lack the final step of a dip / washes. It can make a HUGE difference to the final result of the finished paint job.

Heh, am I the only one viewing them with an eye on repainting?

I like that druid, and may have to paint it up and add glasses for a person that I know.

And a few more minis posted to the Paizo Blog this week.

Are you sure that ogre isn't a cyclops? On my screen it looks like it has one big, red eye.

<EDIT> nevermind, got a close up, and that's his mouth open in a scream
