Converting Greyhawk monsters

Added it to the greater gibbering mouther Homebrews entry.

I think we can leave off everything after Feats, since these shouldn't be encountered without the greater mouther, right?

Wrong. B-)

The greater mouther uses them to influence the puppet leaders of its territory, so I'd think you'd usually encounter them far from their parent mouther.

In that case, let's fill in those lines!

Gibberspawn Draft.

Well the greater mouther's organisation is called a "Monarchy", so we should play off that.

Oh, and add a monarchy to the parent creature, something like:

Greater Gibbering Mouther
Organization: Solitary or monarchy (1 plus X gibberspawn and Y humanoids)

Gibberspawn
Organization: Solitary, ministry (X-Y plus X-Y humanoids) or monarchy (X-Z? plus 1 greater gibbering mouther and X-Z? humanoids)

If that represents a village controlled by one of these things, yes, I'd say that looks good.

Well I think of it more as an "inner court" of creatures in the Greater Mouthers' lair. The lair may be within or close to an indirectly controlled settlement of non-gibberspawn hosts, but I would think such a village would have more than 12 humanoid inhabitants!

1d12 works for me.

Thus:

Greater Gibbering Mouther
Organization: Solitary or monarchy (1 plus 1-12 gibberspawn and 0-12 humanoids)

Gibberspawn
Organization: Solitary, ministry (1-6 plus 0-6 humanoids) or monarchy (1-12 plus 1 greater gibbering mouther and 0-12 humanoids)
