Well, not really. He becomes a gamer. I am running a nostalgic 1981 Basic Set game at my FLGS ("New Year, Old School") and he is joining me and the other grown ups. He has already played through the 1983 Basic Set solo adventure (with me narrating) and bought his own dice.
