Wandering around Target this afternoon and, as always, I pass by the board game section.
Lo, and behold, there's three different games there from Fantasy Flight (Deadwood, Lord of the Rings and Runewars). Sitting right next to it are copies of Munchin.
Not a single D&D boardgame or the like in sight (not even a copy of the Red Box). I mean come on - I can find a copy of munchin for sale at Target and no D&D related stuff anywhere? Fantasy flight (and Settlers of Catan) is getting mainstream enough to carry them in "regular" stores and D&D is backed by a toy/board game company and they can't be bothered to have a product that could be carried in these stores?
(I guess they must be behind the counter somewhere...)
