Regarding Dungeon Command, from today's Rule-of-Three...

The first two packs are Heart of Cormyr, consisting of adventurers and heroes from Cormyr, and Sting of Lolth, consisting of drow forces and their spider minions. Soon afterward, we will have Tyranny of Goblins, which consists of goblinoid creatures and their allies. In addition to having a story theme, each faction also has a game mechanical theme that causes it to play slightly differently than other factions. For example, the drow focus on mobility and treachery, while the adventurers have a broader base of abilities but work well with other adventurers. Goblins are easy to get out onto the battlefield, and swarm over your opponent.

In addition to their use in Dungeon Command, these miniatures can also be used in the D&D RPG, with their cards further usable with D&D Adventure System board games (Castle Ravenloft, Wrath of Ashardalon, and The Legend of Drizzt).
Oooh! They come with cards for the board games? Now that's nice! I thought I could safely ignore these, but now I may have to look closely what's in each pack.

If you are looking for extra cards for the Board Games, keep an eye out for the three promo cards that have been released so far (one per game): Gray Hag, Kobold Champion and Vierna Do'Urden.

Thanks for the reminder!
I actually have the Gray Hag card (it was the last RPGA promo item I received) and had seen the Kobold Champion card over at BGG but didn't think of checking if there was a new one after 'The Legend of Driz'zt' boardgame was released.

Over at BGG there are also quite a few fan-designed cards, but 'official' cards are usually a bit nicer.

I think I have a spare Vierna Do'Urden card I can post you, if you'd like.

Rule of three confirms that the Greenwood Realms and the Drow City will be system neutral. (pretty obvious for the first, not sure how they will do it for the second). Also mentions undermountain "book", which again was heard elsewhere, but still.

My #1 question is "What's next?" in the way of 4e-specific material. I ask in the comments section of every Rule of Three. If they began work on 5e 9 months ago, and the last 4e product (Dungeon Survival Handbook) comes out in May, that makes 12 months between DSH design and release: the time it normally takes to bring a book from concept to publishing. Have they worked on any other 4e-specific product since? I've heard absolutely nothing. Does this mean 4e products are now finished? No response yet, but I certainly hope not.

Noticed Logan Bonner was listed as an author on "The Dungeon Survival Handbook".

(Iirc, Logan Bonner was canned from WotC back in the Xmas 2009 layoffs).

At times I wonder whether the last batch of remaining 4E-specific splatbooks, are been used as a "dumping ground" for the remaining stuff that was already written and paid for. (ie. They don't want it all to go to waste). :uhoh:

This implies about a year of system neutral releases....or an XMass release for 5E....either seems possible.
