Background music for Spelljammer game

I wasn't sure where to put this so I'll ask here. We about to start a Spelljammer and want to some put some background music together and was wondering what are some good music to use?

This is one question that seems to have ENWorld stumped. But then it's tricky to think of music that says both "space" and "heroic fantasy". The only suggestion I can offer is that if your campaign involves space battles and slavers you can't really go wrong with "The Turkish Song of the Damned" by The Pogues.

Edit: Actually, the music for the revised Battlestar Galactica series might work very well.

Actually, for Spelljammer, the original BG might be more appropriate. Or better yet, Buck Rogers (I don't think it has a soundtrack released, though)

Though I guess perhaps the closest thing to Spelljammer (and this isn't all that close) I can think of is the 80s movie Ice Pirates

It's a very odd band... it could fit together with rock, progressive, middle-eastern ethnic, guitar-oriented, techno and new age.

What are you looking for? Traditional fantasy stuff? Sci-fi esque ambient stuff? Pop?
