...and manages to trap the Blade Mistress.

"Bring her out! I will distract the rest!" Seif leaps then advances into the center of the camp behind some oil oil barrels.

Making a great effort to move the mass of water, Sahid pulled and the blob of water containing the woman, begins to float, following the immortal outside the encampment.

OOC: Using extra effort to get Movable on my Create object and then move away.
 

"People moving inside now,""Though with that racket, hard for them not to be. Let's see if we can't at least confuse them with some random temperature drops..." Brian focuses on one of the heat sources in the front center group...

OOC: I'm making Brian Use Hero point to "penetrate concealment" and flash freeze in same round rather then have hm lock in on one person one round, then fire the next.

Wastelander 12: 1d20+1=5 vs 20 --> Fail

... causing the unsuspecting target to be frozen solid.

The nearest Deezy can tell, she's being waved into the fight. She throws the Beast's throttle open, and starts clomping madly towards the spot where her friends are doing battle with the (presumably) deadly swordswoman.

(OOC - I recall that the battle field is out of her weapon range from the bluff...how many turns will she have to double-move before she is within range?)
 

Deezy throttles the beast towards the camp.

The Abel begins to attack the water bubble. "Release me infidel!"
Abel: 1d20+6=22 vs 5 --> Hit!
Water Tough: 16 vs DC 19 --> Injured -1


The waste landers shake off their surprise.

OOC: That is true assuming you don't power stunt (you never declared that the Beast is not subject to extra effort, and if you did I don't remember it ;) ) to create an alternate power like this:

Orbital Strike: Blast 6 (Laser; PF: Improved Range 5 [3000 ft inc], Indirect) [18pp]

However without using extra effort, it will take Beast 11 turns moving all out (180ft/round) to get into range since the base is 2500 ft away, and the max range of the beast's weapons 600ft (@ -10 to hit).

«Alright, so assuming Sahid chooses to bring Abal out this round, I'll go with:
The blades of Qssim arched out, messily slicing through drums and then the gas tanks of nearby vehicles as Seif bounded down, outward bound. The stack of drums was just beginning to collapse when PTOOSH he jumped again, aether and diesel sloshing across the sand in a slow wave behind him.

Heart beating a mile a minute in fear/elation, Seif flipped upside down in the air, facing the camp, and with a rough flick of his wrist set off one of his thick survival matches against an armored fore-arm, tossed it back at the growing edge of the puddle and then disappeared on the other side of the spiky iron wall -- to a bone jarring landing in the sand by the Ottoman's side.

[sblock=Actions]So that goes:
Standard: Dervish Strike vs all drums and gas tanks within a 15' radius
Move: Use one of his weatherproof matches to set off the blaze
Free: Switch array to Pole Vault
Free: Use Extra Effort to Surge and jump over the front gate.

Since we'll all be outside the camp by the time they come out, I'm also hoping the fire/explosion(s) migth convince some/all of the campers that the alarm was sounded because of the *fire*, leaving ample time for Seif and co to get away with their prize. :devil: Fingers crossed and all that.[/sblock]

"She'll break free eventually." says the Ottoman as Seif lands right next to him. With a deaf grunt he pushes the water bubble in the air towards the outskirts of the camp, farther and farther. "Go, I'll rejoin you later."

OOC: Sahid will move Abel farther away, sacrificing his own ability to move. Double move the water bubble
 

Sief unleashes a dervish strike on the fuel stacks as he rushes out of the camp, causing several fuel stacks to topple. Once out of the camp he flicks a match and tosses it into a tendril of fuel.

The spilt fuel begins to ignite.

The ottoman mentally pushes the sphere of water towards the rear of the camp.

OOC: Looks like, from the OOC thread, that VV is moving the bubble towards us. If he's not, then I'll probably have to amend.


As the ottoman mentions that his bubble may not hold long enough, Brian turns his attention away from the wider array of forces and to their apparently-intended target.

"Cold bath for you, I'm afraid, miss," he says, pulling the ambient heat energy away from the girl in the bubble.
