(this feels weird posting here rather than in the/a dedicated 'merchant' forum )
I have always loved the ‘tauric form. Don’t know exactly why, but they capture my imagination. Over the years I’ve played a number of Centaur characters in various campaigns and in various editions of the game, and always had a blast doing so, with interesting moments, unusual occurrences and RP galore. (In one of the first campaigns I was taking over another player’s character in a two-centaur party who (the characters, that is) had started a bet(loser buys drinks) with each other for who could kill the most “orc-equivalent” worth of monsters during the adventure – at the end of the first adventure they tied. The rest of the party bought them both drinks...)
Fast forward to 4th edition and I got the designer itch to bring Centaurs, and all the other possible ‘taurs, into the PC fold for 4e campaigns. The result is a new supplement I just put up on RPGnow, which allows for a whole host of ‘taur race types, using just about any animal base type as the foundation (Centaurs, liontaurs, foxtaurs, anttaurs, yuan-ti, zebrataurs, dracotaurs...), to be added to a campaign without straying far from the established player race norms and without the need for serious party or game re-balancing.
Free preview below, please check it out if you, like me, want to play some ‘tauric races, or if you want to include ‘tauric races in your upcoming campaign!
