i'm a giant dork and i make dice.

Nice looking dice! Might put that on my birthday or Christmas list ;)

I see you're not terribly far away from me--are you planning on going to NTRPGCON? Maybe showing off these dice in person and taking orders?

Welcome to the Frontpage
Convention in the DFW area. Bedford, to be precise. Focus is old school / retro games, but the community is great. It's very not-commercialised from what I've seen so far.
This will be my first year to attend.

Anyway, if you end up going, I'd love to see some of your dice in person and might even plunk down some cash there for a few.

Love the dice! I might be ordering some through the kickstarter.

And as a fellow web designer, I wanted to compliment you on the Artisan Dice site. Looks gorgeous.

i'll see about going. it really depends on my schedule. my other hobby tends to get busy about that time with travel.

thanks for the compliments on the site. took a couple of days to build. still not done yet. got a few things to tweak. post some links to your stuff if you don't mind i'd love to look at it.

Those are some beautiful dice. I'd LOVE to see a d20 in that purple heart oak!

so would i! but as far as i can figure that is going to take some work, as the only way i can figure out how to make one is with a 4 axis cnc mill. maybe if we get enough backing on kick starter i could swing it. /shrug

btw we hit 400% backing on kickstarter in the first 24 hours!!!! simply amazing. :D

The bog oak is just awesome. They are super expensive, but then how does one go about pricing a die that is thousands of years old? Again, awesome and congrats.

AeroDm did you see the kauri wood? it's 50,000 years old and has a holographic effect in the grain structure called white bait. pure awesome!!!
