Suping up a construct

The Item Creation rules offer guidelines for enchanting objects.
Constructs are animated objects.
Likewise, their humanoid form means they should be able to utilize action/circumstantial triggered magical items like rings, amulets, weapons, and the like. The only real limitation is their inability to utter command words so no wands and the like (unless DM rules the device reacts to the WORD and not just whomever happens to be holding it?)

Cast bulls strength on it? Or give it magic items?
So far as I know, there's no reason why most constructs wouldn't be improved by bulls strength.

Consider how you craft the construct. With no ability to use spells or enchantments on it, if your DM wont let you wish away the barrier, or use spells to bypass it (I know id be iffy as a DM)
It is a construct, there are ways to make its body a weapon without suffering negative side effects, one way is when you construct it ensure its body is built up with many iron spikes, it now has additional melee prowess and attacking it causes the risk of smashing into one of its effectivly 'natural armour spikes'
If you have even more money to burn, so long as it doesnt cover the joints melt a layer of adamantine over the outside of the construct to offer it bonus' from that. It isnt exactly armour, I am sure a DM will accept you can do that, but he may not be too happy with you.
The shape of the hands themself, if you make a series of sharp blades come off of its hands, and if your DM will allow it, use whatever magic (such as wish, id whore out wish so to speak) to make 'none magic materials' that are 'especialy sharp/hard/ext' maybe he will allow you more of a bonus than just master crafted and such on his attacks as a result.
I guess the last possible thing is see if he lets you give the constuct additional parts, if you make a construct with 8 arms, he may let all eight function, if you give it an ungodly wing span, he may (I would laugh if he did) let it fly.
Just change its body shape and add material to improve it.

You've got a Colossal Construct and you're NOT going to ride it??
How about make it a carrier for a small army of other Constructs?
Ok, I broke open the Epic Handbook and took a read.
Sounds like you would have some sort of "Huge, Exotic Weapons in one hand." Spiked Chain Perhaps? You'd have a 30' natural reach, plus, um, I don't know what reach a Spiked Chain for a Colossal creature would have.
Free action Breath weapon on top of it. Incredible.
+99 Attack!?!
I don't understand, what is it you plan to do with this thing? It's incredible completely naked by itself, how much more do you need it suped up?

I want Iron Colossus in texas...
Thanks to jefgorbach I now know about the Greater essence of the jungle. Normally the Maug Rollers incur a -8 penalty to swim, climb, and ride checks (what does a large tank zaku-like robot ride?) Using the Greater Essence of the jungle i know gain a +7 bonus to those three skill (Normal +15).
