I know that this has been discussed, but i never saw the post.
anyhow, clerics follow gods, and paladin too.
what pathfinder and 3.5 said is "The paladin is the knight in shining armor, a devoted follower of law and good."
can Wotc changed the paladin into a virtue/vice type and non-god warrior?
i know the original paladin is LG, but just to satisfy the general crowd, how about paladins get power by their strong belief thru alignments. They are the epitome of an alignment, an alignment's servant. different to a god's servant.
This is just like the paladin found in Essentials. Non-god warrior.
