I'd need more granularity in the poll options in order to answer accurately.

I think the game has potential, given that it's in early playtest form right now. It's fine for a playtest. I'm quite done with it now, and I'll be curious to see what the next batch of playtest stuff adds to the mix.

My full thoughts are here.

I treat every RPG as its own thing. I treat every edition of every RPG as its own thing. I don't compare one to another. I don't play favorites with one at the expense of any others. They are each individual games that get rated on their own merits. So I don't see 5 versions of one game called "Dungeons & Dragons" and declare one version worth playing and the others not... I've played four different games thus far that might as well have been called "Cow", "Truck", "Albany", and "Purple", and I'm now playtesting a game called "Bob".

And in that regard... this playtest for "Bob" is good. It's a fun game. I've enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing how "Bob" progresses.

I only wish I could go to GenCon this year so that I might get into a game of "Truck" or "Purple" and have fun with it.

Insufficient data at this time.

I have some opinions on specific elements of the playtest (yay to the advantage mechanic, fast combat, simple skills, and theater of the mind; boo to overnight healing and skill modifiers being overwhelmed by the random element; headscratch to some of the monster stats), but there is too much in flux and too much yet unknown for me to form an assessment of the system as a whole. For that I need to see the chargen rules, and a few more iterations of playtesting to see what direction the designers are headed.

My impression so far is that it's an interesting game, but it doesn't do anything to make me go, "Wow!". It's a game I can see myself playing for a one-shot or maybe playing in a tournament, but since my money went into Pathfinder, I don't see myself bailing on that investment to pick up 5e just yet.

However, it's still early in the game so maybe they'll release some rules here that will be super-awesome-cool.

I'm digging it so far, and hope too much doesn't change down the line (due to AEDU fanatics and what not).

4th Ed, IMO, really is not D&D, great game, but really, a board game.

I crack open my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Ed PHB; then crack open the 4th Ed one, what the hell is this?

...Please don't start with the "balance" shenanigans.

Right now? No. Until a lot of stuff is changed, I won't be getting on board. I'm waiting to see what it looks like towards the end of development before I make a decision, though. But the fact that at will magic missile, healing surges, dailies, and what have you were even considered for the game tells me the designers have no clue what kind of game I like. It doesn't look good.

I would like to see a powers option for martial characters. I can commit without it, but I would really like to see some kind of AEDU system add-on.

What I can't really do without is a page 42 and simple (optional cheater-mode, if need be) monster and encounter construction.

This would only be true if they were trying to make a game to please you specifically. They may very well know exactly the type of game you prefer and what goes into it, but know they have a much wider audience than just you.

I guess if I take teh question literally, than no, I'm decidedly unhappy with what we have so far because it's still in beta form and we only have three levels. :p

There's not a lot to go on but from what we have I'm unimpressed for the reason above and because so far it doesn't look like a step forward in design, in no small part because it's a level 1-3 playtest. Of course there's a long way to go and a lot of features to be added before we'll really see what the system can offer.
