Sneak Attack

Aran Thule

First Post
Hi all, got a few ideas going around my head for a sneak attack character.
Im sure there is stuff out there but im having trouble finding it.
So any thoughts as to how to get around the problem of creatures that are immune to sneak attack?
Any feats/ weapons or classes i can look at (and which books it can be found in)
Also if it got the go ahead from the DM how would you rate the cost of an item that effectively made sneak attack work like the pathfinder rules?

3rd post down has a very nifty link.

Throwing Alchemical items or using 0th level (or higher) wands of spells like Acid Splash or Ray of Frost are things you can apply Sneak Attack damage to (in the cases Sneak Attack applies) and it will hurt Undead, Constructs, etc. A level 9 Rogue using an Acid Splash wand against an Undead monster would deal 1d3+5d6 acid damage, for example. Throwing a vial of Alchemists Fire would deal 1+5d6 fire damage, with an extra 1d6 the next round as per the item.

Can you supply a link for that?
why does type of damage effect if it can be effected by sneak attack

Undead are invulnerable to sneak attacks, but not invulnerable to acid. That doesn't mean they're NOT invulnerable to sneak attacks delivered with acid, that's flawed logic. While there are ways to sneak attack undead (truedeath crystal, gravestrike spell, penetrating strike...), just using a different vehicle of delivery won't do the trick.

I agree with Empirate.

Typically, for undead, an Eternal Wand of Gravestrike is the route to go. Penetrating Strike is also very useful.

...I think my last post was wrong.

I was looking around for the source of where I thought this was true and could not find any. I apologize.
