Moving at 2 miles per round, you wouldn't be looking at it long.

Let us see... At around 25 miles from the coast of California, then, it would take Catalina Tarrasque around 12-13 rounds to stomp on to the nearest beach on the mainland. That's about a 1.5 minutes, not a lot of time to evacuate, so anyone living near the beach is going to be in bad shape. Not to mention the amount of wave action generated by the beast just standing up and walking through the Pacific to get to dry land...

Hm... it's about 3000 miles from coast to coast across the USA. At 20 miles per minute, you've got a line trampled across the country in two and half hours.

This is assuming he doesn't stop to eat, which he would.

The safest place to be? On the Catalina Tarrasque's back, I'm thinking right above the rear hips. Assuming he never rolls over, you could build a small fortress up there and be cool.

You could probably tunnel a couple hundred feet down without it noticing. Be the zit on its back in an underground bunker. Almost nothing could hit you. But how do you even stat something this huge? How many hit points does it have?
