take your time to recover, we aren't in any sort of a big hurry. At least I'm not, and I doubt mfloyd is either. Though I can't really speak for him. And I can't speak for any of your other adventurers, but I would assume they would want a healthy GM.

No ARG races have been approved besides the Wayang. The wiki is up-to-date in that respect.

Actually I need to ask: can the oread be used as an NPC race at this time? I might have an adventure idea.
I don't think the specific mechanics introduced in ARG are up for grabs, but Oread are in Bestiary 2, so I think they're fair game for NPCs the same way the grippli were for GE or the (half) gillmen for SK. We don't have specific fluff in place, though I think Qik suggested the half-elemental races would probably be pretty common to Illi Esse, at least, due to its planar intersections.

Rules are different for DMs and the opposition. I used Githyanki as bad guys when we only had Bestiary 1 out, extrapolating them from 3.5ed.
If it is a plot tool, DM only has to get it past a Judge for a sanity check.

Yeah, they'd make perfect sense in Illi Esse, and actually, wouldn't be particularly "rarified" there. The racial breakdown doesn't the reflect that at the moment, but it should be updated to do so.
