The sky is a Carmine red, with a slight purplish tinge, silver and blue clouds can be seen in the distance. Anybody familiar with the forces of nature can tell there is something magical keeping the clouds limited from specific areas, as there are defined, flat edges along some sides, and one cloud has a perfect square which it surrounds. Some sort of localized climate control, perhaps?

The ivory statue is 10 feet tall, but significantly wider than a standard humanoid body, its shoulders 6 feet across.
The statue does not move for a moment, causing some in the party to wonder, just for a moment, if this really was a waste of time. Just as Gerard is about to clear his throat and try again, there is a loud groaning, as if a long-rusted metal door were being forced open, and the statue looks down at Darrian from its kneeling position.
"Bloody Took you long enough!" It looks over to Gerrard, the grating sound lessened but still slightly jarring. "A bit stiff, but that's to be expected, being stuck in here for so long." It stands with a metallic screech, and hops down off the stage, landing beside the party. Several brace themselves for the mighty Boom when it hits, but there is barely a stirring of dust as Wade gently lands, then starts working out his joints.
"Not bad. You finally brought them to me, eh? Alright, 5 minutes of chit-chat, then it's time for the test!"

"Tell us the story of All," asks Ur rather simply, before getting it started: "In the beginning, there was the Power..."

<Response Wade?>

OOC: What can he tell about the thing's construction, origine and/or age? Craft (Stonecutter/Stonemason) +15.

Ur studies the statue for a moment and after close scrutiny, the way it moves, the sounds it makes, and the general appearance of the 'stone skin' lead him to believe that although it appears to be fashioned of ivory, that is just a (Well designed) covering. Anybody less familiar with stone than he likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference. As far as origins or age, the covering appears new. Either something is protecting it from the ravages of time, or it was fashioned so recently that nothing has affected it yet.

As he speaks, the statue looks at him and cocks its head to the side. "Just like that?" He clears his throat and suddenly his voice becomes a match to Ur's as he raises his hands, as though beseeching some great power "Oh ancient automoton, wisest being we've ever met, wielder of secrets Unknown to the gods and doer of deeds long forgotten.. Tell us everything."
His voice returns to its regular tone, waving his hand at Gerard. "At least he asked how I was feeling before inquiring about the secrets of the universe. Don't worry, Kid, everybody tries something like that. Heck, ask nice sometime and I might just tell you the first thing ol'feathers over there asked me." It jerks its head in the direction of Darrian. "Knowledge is Power, and you don't just hand power to people. It must be earned." He swings his head to look at Tutek, still 'working out his joints' "You look like you understand what I mean, eh big guy? Earned yourself some mighty fine power in your day, didn't you? Gave it up, too. Not many do that. I like you. Maybe not the sharpest sword on the wall, but definitely a good one to keep around."
He spins around then, bending over, his face inches from Braham's before anybody realizes what has happened
"Not what you expected? Thought I'd be some ancient rust bucket? a simple talking statue? Mindless Construct? Or maybe just thought I'd be a bit more reserved, respectful? HAH, you mortals never really GET me. How many EONS I've been waiting and it's always the same..."
Wade goes on ranting about mortals, and humans specifically, while the group glances curiously around, seeing Darrian roll his eyes and sigh.

Just as someone is about to speak up and interrupt him, Wade stops and bolts upright, this time without a sound. "On the other hand, I do like a good game.. And you mortals from that rock tend to be into those.. Tell you what, I'll tell you three things about the beginnings of the universe. Two are true. Guess which one is false, and you can ask me any question which can be answered with a single word. One guess for all of you, whoever guesses first is the answer I'll take! Discuss amongst yourselves if you wish, but do be quick about it, we still have that test, after all!"
Its finely etched face doesn't seem to move, but it's expression somehow seems intrigued, almost maniacally so.

As it speaks again, it's voice changes, sounding much more wise and solemn than it's previous apparent madness.
"In the beginning there were three races: Titans, Gods, and Dragons.
The Titans ruled with their advanced Magic and Technology until the Gods tricked them, destroying and casting them into prisons or exile.
The Gods created all the sentient races that live on the Prime, to worship and empower themselves."

"Hello, Wade. I didn't know what to expect. I can assure you I'm not disappointed. I'm Braham, by the way."

He nods in agreement at Mei's statement, though by the rules of the golem's game, she has already given the first and only guess that will count.

Ah, a *contest*. Ur sits up, dark eyes attentive, lips slightly parting from his teeth. Not quite as physical as he would have liked, but still... riddles were riddles.

Mei-Ying considered, then said, "The third statement is false. Dragons are sentient, and live on the Prime."
"They seemed to say we mortals were created by the Power," adds Ur with a nod towards William and Darrian, though he clearly agrees with her choice: in either case the third is the answer the golem seeks.

OOC: If asked, Ur will suggest they ask "Who was the last entity to wield the power before the book was sealed?". That's assuming they only get one question. If they get more than one, I suggest we take one each (?). Ur will ask the one above when his turn comes around.

OOC: the answer wade seeks is which one is true. mentioning one is false is counted as 'discussion amongst ourselves, imho

PS: if my ic comments seem 'distracted' i blame that on the ice cream i am eating.

[A] "In the beginning there were three races: Titans, Gods, and Dragons.

The Titans ruled with their advanced Magic and Technology until the Gods tricked them, destroying and casting them into prisons or exile.

[C]The Gods created all the sentient races that live on the Prime, to worship and empower themselves."

Speaking to the heroes, Gerard voices a few observations,

"comment A feels off. just a gut feeling
comment b seems to indicate that some titans can be freed or returned. A strange comment in that he might be hinting to the trouble with THE POWER.
comment c is as you say Mai ling, suggesting dragons were created for the purpose of worshiping the gods is very off."

his voice trails off into contemplation . . . . .

"The Titans are still alive -- some of them," mentions the dwarf, who has fed on heroic stories from a very early age indeed. "Thor repels them on a regular basis; them and their giant children." He cocks his head to the side, but his straightforward mind doesn't quite manage to figure it out: "What trouble?"

<Response Gerard?>

Wade's face shifts to appear as a grin as he regards Mei-Ying "Was that an answer to me or are you talking to them?"
