All in all, I liked the adventure as glue between two different campaign settings (Goodman Games' Punjar and WotC's Nentir Vale) - and it DID provide me with the brainstorm that lead to Shute's (unknown) secret. So as inspirational material, it worked for me!

Thanks for the high praise - the adventure has finally moved into Gardmore Abbey, so this will be my last log-post to this thread...


My group has started Madness at Gardmore Abbey, and the first stop is Winterhaven. And though there was no combat planned, I built the town out anyway...
