The Amazing Spider-Meh 2

Pretty boring. Jamie Foxx was a good character, but every villain in these things ends up doing pretty much the same thing - causing vast mayhem and the city to shut down.

Here's a question they missed that bugged me during the movie: why was Gwen taking a taxi to the airport. Really, who does that? You take the subway to the junction station and take a different train out to the terminal. Taking a taxi--especially when traffic is a big problem--is much more expensive and much less efficient. It is also a lot easier to catch a subway on short notice than to have a cab drive to your house to pick you up. Just doesn't make sense.

I know, they needed it to be a cab so that she could see the bridge. But that's a sloppy writing flaw. Or someone who doesn't know Jack about NYC. (I've only visited a few times, but I do know how to get to the airport!)

or someone who doesn't care cuz the subway doesn't give you what you need for the shot

Well, when someone is accepted in a foreign university they do not need to go there immediately. So he could of just waited for her at her place with some flowers.

Can't really spin a giant web at those locations...

Sure you can.
Granted, they don't have to be 500 ft tall, but then you'd only need to make them 20ft tall. Maybe not as impressive, but a heck of a lot more practical.

Oh, and if they're at the airport, then there's suddenly a point to the airplane collision sequence/threat. OK, not quite, but at least it would be related to what the main characters are doing.
