From looking at the dwarf cleric sheet: I can only say: Yeah, who would ever want humans to be competitve to the ubermensch races +1 to three (probably even forced to be the lowest three) totally makes up for darkvision and an extra hp every level. Three cheers for the humans .... or not

Remember, the dwarf is also getting a +1 to two stats. So if the human is getting +1 to an additional 3 ability scores that is 5 total. Getting +1 to the lowest 5 is, I think, looking more likely.

No it still makes sense that Humans are +1 to all stats. It appears this Dwarf has +2 to 1 stat and +1 to another.

Does anyone seriously think the rule is "Humans get +1 to 3 (or 5) stats but they have to be the lowest stats"? That's crazy. It's far more likely that:

1: There's mistakes on the pregen and/or 2: The person who built the pregen is not a min/maxer and made some choices that most of us would consider... less than ideal.

I play a mt dwarf, the darkvision isn't a big benefit in a mixed race party, there is always light around.

The +1 to AC is the solid part.

I hope that fighter gives +1 to str or dex, and other classes too. That would be great.

Has it? I wouldn't take this thread as certain confirmation. I think +1 to five is also possible.

That said, as one of the "hate the +1 to all for humans" guys, I think giving demihumans +2/+1 solves my issue with it elegantly.

This dwarf confirms us that the character do have 30 points.

If it was +1 to all 6 for human, it means the human was made with 27 points. No sense.

Still thinking it's +1 to 3 (and not the 3 lowest) so far

You don't agree that's what it should be? Because it's been confirmed that +1 to all for humans and +2/+1 for non-humans, RAW. Of course, you can always house rule it if you're not good with that.

Is there a stat difference between dwarf subraces? I guess dwarves are +2 to Con and +1 wisdom? Or strength. Maybe their primary is +2, and secondary has a choice? That would be awwwwwwesome sauce indeed. Direct benefit to my current character.
