D&D 5E Starter Set Player Character Table Tents

Hi all,

Working with the Going Last podcast we have made available Table Tents for use in D&D.

Table Tents are folded in half and placed on the table during play in front of each player, displaying the character name, class, and other information. An image helps bring the concept to life. Information such as AC and bonds/flaws/ideals remind both DM and player and help with Inspiration awards.

There is one table tent for each of the pregenerated characters in the D&D Starter Set. We also provided a blank file you can print out and fill out later (perfect for players that bring their own character). And, all of the files are available in Word so you can edit them and make your own (swap out the images, edit the info, change the fonts, etc.).

I have found table tents to be very useful at facilitating RP between players and also between the DM's NPCs and the PCs. Never forget a PC's name again. Stay in character more easily, recalling the PCs' distinguishing characteristics. We hope you find these useful in your games as well!

Great idea :)

In the Wotc livestream of the Starter set the DM used "tents" to easily show initiative or marching order.
In another livestream I saw the DM hang the "tents" on his DM screen, also using them for monsters.

I have used these for as long as I can remember, but I like to fold them over the top of the DM screen for easier access. :)

Edit: As in fact the previous poster said. Nothing to see here.
