Random Character Generator (beta 1.0)

This is a modified version from my WFRP random character generator.

It runs on MS Excel.

So far, it generates basic random stats, hp, name, race, class and background.

I'll be adding stuff as I go.

Feel free to steal the code to do with it what you will

Updated to include a 4d6-low die and set up by class to receive the highest two scores.

I can't finish the skills, bard, etc., until I get my PHB next week.

Took a brief a look, f9 seemed to not do anything. Particular version of Excel required?

It's set up on MS Excel 2007. Should work for all versions later. F9 is the typical reset button on these things but you can always change an empty cell and hit enter and that will recalculate and randomize as well.

If you need any help, let me know. I'm customizing a home-brew copy to the LANKHMAR setting, so I'll be changing the names, adding/subtracting some races, etc. for that version (depending on what/if I need anything for my campaign).

How do I steal the code?

And can it be set up to work in, say, a forum like this one? Like, if I wanted to run a 5e game with players making up random characters (or just as an option) and they can upload a copy of the completed sheet in the thread?

Also: how do I change it to be the character I want? Like, if I want an Illusionist instead of a Conjurer, or a Sage instead of a Noble? Or add a level, or change the race/gender, etc?
