D&D 5E Player's Handbook page quality

So what are the pages like in everyone's Player's Handbook? Mine are wavy instead of flat, something I assume is from the thin paper quality combined with being soaked in wet ink. However, I wanted to see if this was normal. It left an indentation of the waves on the black paper in the back of the book from the pressure of having other books stacked on top of it.

Yeah, I noticed that with mine when I picked it up at a midnight release. I was annoyed at first, but then I haven't noticed it at all until you just reminded me.
I haven't really had any complaints about the paper quality since then.
