Sigil in Pathfinder

Is there a writeup anywhere about Sigil in the Pathfinder system?

Or if Sigil is owned by some wizards who like surfing or other beach activities, what's in PF could I use in place of The Plane of Doors? I have The Great Beyond - A Guide to the Multiverse, would it be in there? I can't think of any other books it might be in, but it is 5am and I have not slept at all thanks to wonderful insomnia (I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about).

So anyway, I would really appreciate it if you could provide some info about where to read up on Sigil in Pathfinder! It could be someone's blog where they wrote up Sigil for their own campaign, an official Paizo sourcebook, or even a 3rd Party sourcebook.

Thanks a lot!

Sigil is Planescape and Pathindfinder can't do Wizard property.

There has been a great Planescape fansite out there somewhere but I don't know if they did Pathfinder conversions or not.

Sigil isn't that hard to convert.

If you're looking to convert races and factions and such, you can just use this 3.5 conversion as a jumping off point.

Otherwise you can just say Golarion is a Prime Material and have people find a portal.

if you really wanted to get fancy, you could make up some faction traits?.

A quick Google search turned up no leads on a Pathfinder version of Sigil.

I guess for my upcoming game, I'll just have to use bits and pieces from sources not made for Pathfinder and convert as necessary.

If I created a Pathfinder Sigil (Or an extraplanar City of Doors very similiar to Sigil but with a different name), would anybody want to use it themselves? I don't mind posting what I come up with, but I can't guarantee that it'll be as good as the originals, particularly the one from Planescape altogether.

Please let me know! Thanks :)

I'm a giant fan of Sigil, and I wrote 'The Great Beyond' so I might be able to help. But... Sigil is WotC IP so it was never something that could be used as an official part of Pathfinder's cosmology.

That being said, the city of Kaer Maga in Pathfinder takes some inspiration from Sigil (though it isn't a planar hub), and various city's in Pathfinder's planes can function in a similar role as Sigil. Galisemni the 'City of the Celestial and the Damned'/'The Drifting City' in the Maelstrom and Shadow Absalom are two that would serve a similar role as planar hubs (and I'm using the former as a Sigil stand-in in my home campaign).

But there's nothing preventing you from using an adapted version of Sigil either. The flavor transcends editions really, and given the how similar Pathfinder rules are to 3.x, you could always use material from the 3.x campaign setting writeup on Planewalker.com (for which I wrote the Sigil chapter years back).

I'm not really sure I understand what you would need to convert?

Sigil is just a city. If you want to use Sigil, why can't you just use it as it is in your Pathfinder game? Is the issue that you need it placed somewhere in the Pathfinder multiverse similar to how Sigil floats above the Spire in the Outlands? Or are you worried about named portals in Sigil that lead to planes that don't exist in Pathfinder? Other than that, what do you think needs converting?

Sigil doesn't exist in Pathfinder lore, being somewhat unique to the D&D universe, but it would be both easy and logical to incorporate Sigil into Pathfinder. You'd have to change some minor things, but otherwise, the concept would work fine.
