What do you eat when gaming?

We lost a player to heart disease this year so we stopped with the soda, pizza, and other junk. Generally people eat before they come now and most of us try to keep it healthy.

Generally, cheese and crackers (usually Ritz), carrot and celery sticks. More often than not, some sort of meat that fits on a cracker as well (salami, cocktail sausages, or something similar). M&Ms and Swedish fish are our most common candies, and Mello Yello is invariably the soda of choice.

with my last group most of us had wives or girlfriends who would make some sort of snack that we would bring. Could have been anything from cookies to flatbread or veggie snacks. My favorite was our fighters wife made home made german style pretzels.

My work schedule shifted though so I had to say goodbye to Monday night gaming and the new group is mainly a fast food deal. Although we play at my house so i usually eat something healthy before the game.

Oh and beer. Much beer is to be had.

We don't really. Occasionally someone will bring a bag of crisps to share, and on birthdays a cake appears. Other than that, a couple of cups of tea and that's it.

Crow, when I get a rule wrong. :p

So what do you guys eat at the gaming table? Is it healthy food or junk food?

Junk, mostly, corn chips, soda, candy bars, cookies. When combined with dinner, pizza, brats, burgers, and the like.

We have a monthly boardgaming gameday at a Pizza Ranch, though I don't care for their pizza and so eat the fried chicken buffet. We go from 11 am to 8 pm and have unlimited access to the buffet and drinks, though they charge us for an extra soda since we are there all day.

Morrus, I think you win the prize for the most British response to the thread! Mentions of crisps and cups of tea in the same post.
